Welcome to the 3rd European Martial Arts Games

An IOC recognized body

Dear WMAGC – European Games Participant.

On behalf of the hosting Committee of the 2020 WMAGC – European Games, The European Martial Arts Games Organising Committee (EMAG-OC)  would like to welcome you to the beautiful Town of Rosenheim, Germany. During the weekend of the 28th – 30th of August 2020, competitors from all over Europe and the World will compete for the honour of becoming a WMAGC – European Martial Arts Games Champion.

Rosenheim is one of the largest regions in the south of Bavaria by population (257500). It is located to the north of Munich (1 hour), the capital of Bavaria, in the southern part of the Germany. A location couldn't be better, because Salzburg (Austria), the city of Mozart, is only one hour southeast, Innsbruck (Austria), the gateway to Italy can also be reached within one hour south.

As a university town, Rosenheim is one of the most beautiful cities in Bavaria. Athletes with family and friends can make fantastic excursions in the probably most beautiful region of the foothills of the Alps. In our district there are also other beautiful destinations. A visit on the island of the Chiemsee, in the castle Herrenchiemsee offers itself (king Ludwigs splendour mirror hall). But also other historical and magnificent buildings such as Neuschwanstein Castle, Linderhof Castle and many more are in the immediate vicinity.

With its 1838 m, the Wendelstein is the highest mountain near Rosenheim. The foot of the Wendelstein is only 10 - 15 minutes away. From there you can reach the summit restaurant by train or cable car. The reward is an incredible view over the Bavarian Chiemgau

Follow us also on Facebook  to get more information. Step by step we will update you there on excursion destinations, the event itself and also general information.
